OpenSense and its software ecosystem

The OpenSense COST Action brought together researchers and practitioners working on environmental sensing, with a focus on opportunistic sensors such as commercial microwave links (CMLs), satellite microwave links (SMLs), and personal weather stations (PWS). Working Group 2 (WG2) was responsible for harmonizing the software ecosystem, aligning interfaces, data formats, and best practices across the community’s tools.

This repository documents the resulting software ecosystem. It provides an overview of the key packages, their roles, and how they fit together, along with example notebooks. Additionally, links to related software packages and training materials from the OpenSense workshops are included.
